Managing Items of an Assessment Page

You can add, update, and remove various items in an assessment page. You can use the Manage Common Assessments panel of the Specialty Common Assessment Config practice template to build an assessment page using a combination of different types of items. You can add up to 124 items to an assessment page. The items configured for an assessment page appear in the Inf Common Assessment template for adding diagnoses to a patient’s history. Set Up Default Assessment Pages

You can set an assessment page as a default page for a provider or practice to add diagnoses. On the Specialty Common Assessment Config template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. Note: By default, the active assessment pages are displayed in the grid. Select the assessment page to be assigned as default from the grid. The details of the selected page are filled in the corresponding fields. To set the assessment page as a default page for a provider, select the provider's name from the field for the Rendering column. To set the assessment page as a default page for the current practice, select Practice Default from the field for the Rendering column. Select Add/Update. Configuring Assessment Pages

You can create and maintain assessment pages for adding diagnoses to a patient’s history. You can use the Specialty Common Assessment Config practice template to build assessment pages using diagnosis groups configured on the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config practice template. The assessment pages are accessed throughout the medical record templates for adding diagnoses to the patient’s diagnosis history grids. Specialty Common Assessment Config The Specialty Common Assessment Config template has the following panels: Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links. You can create, update, or copy assessment pages and set default pages for rendering providers and practice. Manage Common Assessments. You can configure diagnosis codes and other items for the assessment pages available in the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. Before you configure preferences on the Specialty Common Assessment Config template, you must select an appropriate product in the Product field. The product

Copy Assessment Pages

You can copy an assessment page to another practice or provider. On the Specialty Common Assessment Config template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. Note: By default, the active assessment pages are displayed in the grid. Select the assessment page to be copied from the grid. The details of the selected page are filled in the corresponding fields. To create a copy of the assessment page for the current practice, do the following: Select the Current Practice option for Copy to. The name of the current practice is filled in the corresponding field. Select Copy. A copy of the assessment page is created and added to the grid. To copy the assessment page to a specific provider in the current practice, do the following: Select the Current Practice option for Copy to. The name of the current practice is filled in the corresponding field. Select the provider's name from the Copy to Provider field. Select Copy. Update Assessment Pages

You can update the details of assessment pages and deactivate existing assessment pages. On the Specialty Common Assessment Config template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. Note: By default, the active assessment pages are displayed in the grid. Select the assessment page to be updated from the grid. The details of the selected page are filled in the corresponding fields. Update the details as needed. To deactivate the selected assessment page without making any changes, clear the Active checkbox. Select Add/Update. The changes are saved to the selected page in the grid. Create Assessment Pages

You can create assessment pages used to add diagnoses to a patient's history. On the Specialty Common Assessment Config template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. Note: By default, the active assessment pages are displayed in the grid. Enter the name of the assessment page to be created in the field for the Common Assessment Page column. From the field for the Category column, select the desired category. Note: The category determines whether the page is viewable on the Inf Common Assessment template when it is opened from medical record templates. From the field for the Age column, and select the appropriate age group. From the field for the Gender column, and select the appropriate gender. To set the assessment page as default to the current practice or a provider, select Practice Default or a provider's name from the field for the Rendering column. Select the option to indicate whether the assessment page contains the ninth or tenth revision codes of Intern
