Generating Reports in NextGen® Therapy Suite
NextGen® Therapy Suite uses SAP® Crystal Reports® software to produce reports. Before you can view and run one of these reports, your practice or organization must first set it up in the Report Dialog window. Although you generate most of the reports from the Report Dialog, you must generate a few from a template.
NextGen® Therapy Suite includes the following reports that you generate from the NTS Reports template:
- Open Cases Report. Displays all patients who have an open case, their last encounter date, visit type of the last encounter, patient phone number, and their initial evaluation date.
- Fee Sheet Productivity by Rendering Report. Displays the Fee Sheet charges for an encounter. Several charges may not have gone to NextGen® Enterprise PM (the charges were either set to prevent for that payer or due to billing rules they were not billed). This gives you a good idea of the items performed by a therapist on each encounter.
- Fee Sheet Productivity by Resource Report. This report is like the Fee Sheet Productivity by Rendering Report but is organized by location.
NextGen® Therapy Suite includes the following reports that you generate from the Report Dialog:
- All PT Orders. Displays the PT orders placed on internally referred patients. You can choose to display all used scripts (pulled into a patient’s chart on Homepage) or unused scripts (not pulled into the patient’s chart on Homepage).
- Case Inactivity Report (Landscape or portrait). Displays all patients for providers that have not been seen in X number of weeks, their case is still open, and the last encounter within the case is not a discharge. This can be used in addition to the Case Inactivity Worklog.
- Closed Cases Report. Displays all patients who had a case closed within the selected time frame.
- Daily Encounters. You can use this report as a comparison tool to view the charges that were submitted in NextGen® Enterprise EHR against what is displayed in NextGen® Enterprise PM. It does not display the NextGen® Enterprise PM charges, but you can generate a separate NextGen® Enterprise PM report for that purpose.
- Encounters Without Procedures. Displays the encounters for rendering providers who do not have any charges in the Procedures module for the associated patient encounter. This can be used in addition to the Enc w/o Charges Worklog.
- Referral Detail Report. Displays the list of patients, onset date, and case description referred by the selected referring physician.
- Referral Summary Report. Displays the total number of referrals during a given period for a referring provider.
- Unsigned POC Report. Displays the unsigned plans of care and Medicare certification periods that are expiring in a given date range and for a referring provider.
- Expiring POC/Certification by Ordering Provider. Displays the plans of care and Medicare certification periods that are expiring in a given date range and for an external referring provider.
- Expiring POC/Certification. Displays the plans of care and Medicare certification periods that are expiring in a given date range and for an internal referring provider.
