Sub-Navigational Links

Sub-navigational links are conveniently located below the template tab and you can configure them to open frequently used templates from the main tabbed templates. For the NextGen® Ophthalmic Suite, some of the sub-navigational links open templates used by all specialties; others open templates that are specific to the selected specialty and visit type. You can configure the sub-navigational links on the Framework Content practice template. Add an External Link

To add an external link on the Single Visit template for PT or OT, select External Links. To add an external link on the Speech Single Visit template, select SLP Links. The grid on the right displays items already in the picklist. Select the field below the right-hand grid Link column, and then enter the web address for the third-party website. Select the field below the Display column, and then enter how you want the link to appear on the template. Select Add. The new link is added to the grid. Parent topic: External Links

Procedures or Results

The Procedures/Results section grid displays any procedures and results that have been documented for the patient on procedure templates. Procedures/Results grid To document procedures and results, select a template in the left navigation to open it. Note: You can configure the left side navigation to show only templates that are used by your practice or the provider and display them in the order most useful to you. All Procedures/Results templates also have functionality for Use Get Data and QuickPicks and you can fill out as many different templates as needed for that patient. Specialty Configuration Home

You can use the specialty configuration homepage to open various configuration templates. The Specialty Config Home template helps you do the following: Open the configuration templates using the links in the Specialty System Sidebar. The links for each product are listed in their respective sections, and the Main section contains the links to templates that are common to all the currently installed NextGen Healthcare products. Read descriptions to understand the purpose of configuration templates. The templates and their descriptions for each product are provided in their respective sections, and the details in the Main section are applicable to the common templates of currently installed NextGen Healthcare products. You can use the links that appear on the templates of NextGen® Orthopedic Suite to open frequently used templates. The links for frequently used templates vary for each workflow, based on the configurations for your practice, provider, and specialty.
