Musculo Foundation Configurations (INF)

The Musculo Foundation (INF) is a framework of shared configurations for the stand-alone Musculoskeletal products. With the following system and practice templates of Musculo Foundation (INF), you can configure various elements of NextGen® Therapy Suite medical record templates. In the Specialty Nav Config system template, you can configure workflows and navigation bar settings. In the Specialty QuickPick Manager system template, you can manage QuickPicks. In the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config practice template, you can configure diagnosis groups. Practice Configuration

You can use the NTS Practice Config template to configure settings for the practice that you are logged on to. The template has a table layout with rows of settings for Scripts, Single Visit, Diagnosis, PT/OT Exams, PT/OT Modalities, PT/OT Aquatherapy, Goals, Fee Sheet, QuickPicks, Cancel, Screening, and Student Settings with SLP Students. You can use system and practice templates to configure the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates according to your requirements. This information is intended for the staff responsible for maintaining the configuration settings. Specialty Configuration Home

The Specialty Config Home template displays a summary of all the configuration templates in the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite, with a brief description of what a user can do on each template. The product ID list at the bottom shows the current versions of NextGen Healthcare products installed, for quick reference. The product ID for NextGen® Orthopedic Suite is NOS. Note: If you have other NextGen Healthcare products installed, the Specialty Config Home template displays those as well. Instructions for other products are not covered in this guide. Open the Specialty Configuration Home

You can open the specialty configuration homepage using the file menu. Open the NextGen® Enterprise EHR application. From the File menu, select System / Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Select Template Note: By default, the System tab is selected, and preferred templates are displayed on the Select Template window. If the *Specialty Config Home option is not displayed in the preferred templates list, select All in the Show section. All system templates are displayed.
