Document a Canceled Visit

  1. Select the Cancel link in the sub-navigation to open the Cancel template.
  2. To select a reason the patient did not keep the appointment (For example, “Forgot” or “Insurance issue”), select the Reason for Cancellation field.
  3. Enter any comments in the Comments field.
  4. Use the checkbox(es) under Charges to designate a charge code to be sent to NextGen® Enterprise PM for the missed appointment.
  5. Select the Sign Off checkbox to enter your name with a date and timestamp.
