Update a QuickPick

You can only update QuickPicks that you created. Although you can use other providers' QuickPicks, you cannot modify them unless you first save a copy to your own QuickPick set. Open a template, and then do one of the following: Select Star button to list the rendering provider QuickPicks. Select Double Star button to list the System Set QuickPicks. Select a QuickPick, and then select OK to load it into the template. Make changes to the entries on the template. Select Floppy disk button. The INF Default Save window opens. The Name to be Updated or Deleted field displays the name of the QuickPick that was used. If you want to change the QuickPick name, enter a new name in the Name field. If necessary, add or change comments in the Comments field. Select Update. Parent topic: QuickPicks

QuickPicks

QuickPicks are an efficient way to enter template information for a typical visit. You can save the standard entries of a template as a QuickPick. Then, when you enter information for another patient encounter, you can save time by adding the entries from the saved QuickPick. Save a System Set QuickPick

Only security groups with configured rights to save System Set scan save a System Set QuickPick. Fill out all information in the template panel(s) to be saved as part of the QuickPick. With the information still in the fields, click the Floppy Disk button in the QuickPick tool bar. The Create Custom QuickPick template opens. The Category field defaults to the template name and the Provider field defaults to the rendering provider for this encounter. Check the System Set check box. The Provider field says System Set instead of the rendering provider’s name. Enter a name for the QuickPick in the Name field. Select Add to save the QuickPick as a System Set. The saved QuickPick can be accessed and used under the Double-Star button in the QuickPick tool bar. Parent topic: QuickPick Toolbar

Save a QuickPick Under the Rendering Provider

Fill out all information to be saved as part of the QuickPick. Select the Floppy Disk button in the QuickPick tool bar. The INF Default Save window opens. On the Specialty QuickPick Manager template, in the QuickPicks panel, you can manage QuickPicks that are already saved for providers and system sets. You can filter the values in the QuickPicks grid by category, set name, or provider by selecting the desired values in their corresponding fields.
