Create and Save a QuickPick

You can create a QuickPick for a template with any amount of information filled in. If the template has questions and answers, you can include only questions or both questions and answers to save as part of the QuickPick. You can save the QuickPick to a rendering provider or as a system set. Note: To save a system set QuickPick, you must be in a security group with configured rights in the QuickPick Manager Configuration template. For more information about setting up security groups for system sets, refer to the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Therapy Suite. Open the template you want to create a QuickPick for. Delete a QuickPick

On the QuickPick toolbar, select Floppy disk button. The INF Default Save template opens. Select the QuickPick from the grid. The Name field displays the QuickPick name. Select Delete. The QuickPick is removed from the grid. Parent topic: QuickPicks

QuickPicks

QuickPicks are an efficient way to enter template information for a typical visit. You can save the standard entries of a template as a QuickPick. Then, when you enter information for another patient encounter, you can save time by adding the entries from the saved QuickPick. Update a QuickPick

Load the QuickPick onto the template using the star or double star icon. Make the necessary changes on the template itself. Click the floppy disk icon. The INF Default Save template opens. It automatically fills in the Name field with the name of the QuickPick that was loaded. As necessary, do the following: Change the name. Change or add comments. Manage QuickPicks for Providers and System Sets

You can update or delete QuickPicks that are saved for a provider or system set. On the Specialty QuickPick Manager template, expand the QuickPicks panel. Filter the values in the QuickPicks grid as needed. To update set name and comments for a QuickPick, do the following: Select a QuickPick to be updated in the QuickPicks grid. Update the set name or comments as needed. Select Update. The selected QuickPick is updated in the QuickPicks grid. To delete a QuickPick, do the following: Select a QuickPick to be deleted from the QuickPicks grid. Select Delete. A message appears to confirm removal of the QuickPick. Select Yes. Access a QuickPick

To access a QuickPick, click the double star icon. A list of QuickPicks opens. The list is configurable to show only System Set QuickPicks, other providers’ QuickPicks, or both. If the list shows both, the System Sets have “System” in front of the name, and providers’ sets have the provider’s initials in front of the name.
