Save a System Set QuickPick

Only security groups with configured rights to save System Set scan save a System Set QuickPick. Fill out all information in the template panel(s) to be saved as part of the QuickPick. With the information still in the fields, click the Floppy Disk button in the QuickPick tool bar. The Create Custom QuickPick template opens. The Category field defaults to the template name and the Provider field defaults to the rendering provider for this encounter. Check the System Set check box. The Provider field says System Set instead of the rendering provider’s name. Enter a name for the QuickPick in the Name field. Select Add to save the QuickPick as a System Set. Delete a QuickPick

QuickPicks can be deleted from the rendering provider. Select the floppy disk icon from the QuickPick tool bar. TheCreate Custom QuickPick template opens. Select the QuickPick from the grid. The Name field fills in. Select Delete. The QuickPick is removed. Parent topic: QuickPick Toolbar

Update a QuickPick

Load the QuickPick onto the template. Make the changes to the fields and selections on the template. Select Save. Create and Save a QuickPick

You can create a QuickPick for a template with any amount of information filled in. If the template has questions and answers, you can include only questions or both questions and answers to save as part of the QuickPick. You can save the QuickPick to a rendering provider or as a system set. Note: To save a system set QuickPick, you must be in a security group with configured rights in the QuickPick Manager Configuration template. For more information about setting up security groups for system sets, refer to the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Therapy Suite. Open the template you want to create a QuickPick for. Update a QuickPick

You can only update QuickPicks that you created. Although you can use other providers' QuickPicks, you cannot modify them unless you first save a copy to your own QuickPick set. Open a template, and then do one of the following: Select Star button to list the rendering provider QuickPicks. Select Double Star button to list the System Set QuickPicks. Select a QuickPick, and then select OK to load it into the template. Make changes to the entries on the template. Select Floppy disk button. The INF Default Save window opens. The Name to be Updated or Deleted field displays the name of the QuickPick that was used. If you want to change the QuickPick name, enter a new name in the Name field.
