Save a QuickPick Under the Rendering Provider

Fill out all information to be saved as part of the QuickPick. Select the Floppy Disk button in the QuickPick tool bar. The INF Default Save window opens. The Category field defaults to the template name from which the INF Default Save window was opened. The Provider field defaults to the rendering provider for this encounter. Enter a name for the QuickPick.in the Name field. Select Add to save the QuickPick under the rendering provider. The saved QuickPick can be accessed and used under the Star button in the QuickPick tool bar. Parent topic: QuickPick Toolbar

Delete a QuickPick

QuickPicks can be deleted from the rendering provider. Select the floppy disk icon from the QuickPick tool bar. TheCreate Custom QuickPick template opens. Select the QuickPick from the grid. The Name field fills in. Select Delete. The QuickPick is removed. Parent topic: QuickPick Toolbar

Update a QuickPick

You can update the set name and comments for a QuickPick set in the QuickPick Manager template. On the QuickPick Manager template, expand the QuickPicks panel. Select the QuickPick set you want to update. Edit the entry in the field under the Set Name column, Comments column, or both. Update button in the QuickPicks panel Click Update. Update a QuickPick

Load the QuickPick onto the template using the star or double star icon. Make the necessary changes on the template itself. Click the floppy disk icon. The INF Default Save template opens. It automatically fills in the Name field with the name of the QuickPick that was loaded. As necessary, do the following: Change the name. Change or add comments. Update a QuickPick

You can only update QuickPicks that you created. Although you can use other providers' QuickPicks, you cannot modify them unless you first save a copy to your own QuickPick set. Open a template, and then do one of the following: Select Star button to list the rendering provider QuickPicks. Select Double Star button to list the System Set QuickPicks. Select a QuickPick, and then select OK to load it into the template. Make changes to the entries on the template. Select Floppy disk button. The INF Default Save window opens. The Name to be Updated or Deleted field displays the name of the QuickPick that was used. If you want to change the QuickPick name, enter a new name in the Name field. Refreshing Template Entries with Updates

On the QuickPick toolbar, the refresh button Refresh button updates the entries on the template with any new information that has been entered recently (for example, by others working on the same patient’s chart elsewhere, or through a module you entered data in). Parent topic: QuickPick Toolbar
