Document Configuration

Use the NTS Document Config template to set up document generator servers and printers that your organization will be using. You can also specify which documents generate on certain visit types. Specialty Configuration Home

You can use the specialty configuration homepage to open various configuration templates. The Specialty Config Home template helps you do the following: Open the configuration templates using the links in the Specialty System Sidebar. The links for each product are listed in their respective sections, and the Main section contains the links to templates that are common to all the currently installed NextGen Healthcare products. Practice Configuration

You can use the NTS Practice Config template to configure settings for the practice that you are logged on to. The template has a table layout with rows of settings for Scripts, Single Visit, Diagnosis, PT/OT Exams, PT/OT Modalities, PT/OT Aquatherapy, Goals, Fee Sheet, QuickPicks, Cancel, Screening, and Student Settings with SLP Students. Pre-Certification Configuration

There are several sections in the NTS Pre-Cert Config template that you must set up prior to tracking pre-certifications (pre-certs) in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Configuring Billing Codes

The Codes grid in the Codes panel on the NTS Billing Config system template lists all possible codes on the therapy templates. All the listed codes are provided as billing guidelines and follow the coding guidelines. The codes are not payer specific, but you can customize them by payer in the Payer Specific Billing panel. You can sort codes within a specific code type. The sort order determines the order that the codes appear on the Fee Sheet template and the claim. This is a global setting for all practices. Note: If you are using NextGen® Clinical Message Manager, the order in NextGen® Clinical Message Manager overrides the code order if it does not match the order in the Codes panel. To configure payer-specific rules for the use of a code, select the code in this grid and then use the grids in the Payer Specific Billing Panel.
