Ancillary Services

The Ancillary Services visit type selected on Homepage opens the Ancillary Services template. This visit type does not increase the patient’s SOC on Homepage. Ancillary Services visit type selected on NTS Homepage With the Ancillary Services template, you can see patients for concussion testing and H-wave testing and document findings for baseline readings prior to injury or post injury. It also includes a Concussion Document. You must select Start Time before you can document any information. Select the Patient seen for text field to open a picklist of ancillary services. Audiology Visit Types

Aud Eval - Use this the first time that the patient is seen by the audiologist. During this visit, the audiologist may determine that there is hearing loss and may also do a Hearing Aid Evaluation. If HA Eval is not completed on that same day, you may schedule the patient for a Hearing Aid evaluation separately. Aud HA Eval - Use this when the patient needs hearing aids but a separate visit is needed for that evaluation. Aud HA Fitting - Use this if a separate visit is needed to fit the patient with the hearing aid post evaluation. Fitting can also occur on the above visits if needed. Aud HA Check - Use this when after the patient’s first hearing aid fitting, they come back a couple weeks later for a check to make sure no other adjustments are needed. Hearing Aid Device Fitting/Repair

Use the Hearing Aid Device Fitting panel to document details for a device fitting along with any hearing aid devices. Use the fields below the Right and Left columns to capture information such as Make, Model, Style, Color, Warranty information, and so on. Hearing Aid Device Fitting panel If you will dispense a device, use the Types field to select a type. Based on the Type selected, a list of items opens. Select the item to be dispensed. All item information populates to the fields below the grid. Enter a quantity in the Qty field. Use the R/L/B options to document if the device is for right/left/both. Procedures or Results

The Procedures/Results section grid displays any procedures and results that have been documented for the patient on procedure templates. Procedures/Results grid To document procedures and results, select a template in the left navigation to open it. Note: You can configure the left side navigation to show only templates that are used by your practice or the provider and display them in the order most useful to you. All Procedures/Results templates also have functionality for Use Get Data and QuickPicks and you can fill out as many different templates as needed for that patient. Add Treatment Plan Details for Audiology Visits

In the NTS Audiology Single Visit template, expand the Plan panel, and then go to the Treatment Plan section. If this is the first visit in this case, the Treatment grid will be empty. Afterwards, when you open this template, all entries in the grid copy forward from the prior visit. Select a category of treatment activities by doing one of the following: To enter general treatment activities, select Default. To enter treatment activities specific to a specialty, select a specialty category. Note: Administrators can configure categories and associated picklists in the NTS Picklist Manager practice template. Select the Treatment field. A picklist of treatment items opens. Do one of the following to add all treatment activities you plan to use to rehabilitate the patient: Select the items from the picklist, and then select Close or Done.
