Add a Message for a Payer
Select the Payer from the
Insurance Information
grid.
Select the text field below the messages grid to enter the payer message.
Note:
If no payer is selected first, the text field will not be editable.
Select
Add
to save the message.

Edit a Payer Message
Select the Payer from the Insurance Information grid. In the messages grid, select the message to be edited. Select the Edit button below the grid. The message text enters the field below the grid. Change the message text by typing in the grid. Select Update to save the changes. Note: To delete a message, select it, and then select Remove. Parent topic: Messages

Editing an Existing Authorization
Select the payer from the Insurance Information grid. Select the Authorization from the Precertification/Authorization. Select the Edit button. The authorization information is shown in the fields below the grid. Using the fields, edit any of the applicable information. Select Update. Parent topic: Precertification/Authorization Panel

Add a Security Group Category Payer Alert
Below the Category/Payer Overrides grid, select the fields to select the Category and Payer Name. Under the Rule column, select either Allow or Prevent. Select the action that is allowed or prevented, and then enter the text that you want to appear in the alert. Select Add to add the alert to the grid. Set an Alert Override
Select the alert in the Alerts panel grid. Select the Create Override button. Alert Overrides panel with alert information The alert appears the Alert Overrides panel grid. As desired or necessary, do any of the following: If the field under the Message column is not gray, change the text of the message, and then select Update Message. Select a financial class from the list under the Financial Class column. Select a payer from the list under the Payer column. Edit a Simple Alert
You can make changes to an alert that is not locked and does not require that you select the Edit Message button to make changes to it. Select the alert in the grid. The details for the alert enter the Description and Message fields below the grid. To edit the entry for the Description and Message fields, select the fields, and then edit the text. Select Update.
