Add a Standard Response in a Message

Standard responses enable you to create reusable messages with placeholders for variable data. For example, you can add a reusable response that includes the patient's name and address for a medication renewal. There are two types of standard responses: Practice-defined standard responses (created in File Maintenance). For information about creating practice-defined standard responses, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Configuration Guide for NextGen® PxP Portal. Create Customized Standard Responses

In addition to the practice defined standard responses you can create and manage your own customized set. For information about creating practice-defined standard responses, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Configuration Guide for NextGen® PxP Portal. On the Enter Comment window, under Standard Responses, right-click Customized, and then select New Category. A new folder is created. Rename the folder. To create a standard response under the category, right-click the category, and then select New Standard Response. A new item is added. Rename the standard response. In the preview pane, select In <Type Response Here>, and enter your message. You can use placeholders to enter patient information and practice information. Export Patient Documents to NextGen® PxP Portal

You can export documents to NextGen® PxP Portal for an enrolled patient. To select documents for export, follow step 1 to step 5 in Select Patient Documents for Export. On the Export Patient Documents window, select Patient Portal, and then select Export. If you have included sensitive data, the Sensitive Encounter data selected window opens. To cancel the export, select Cancel sending. The Export Patient Documents window comes back in view. You can change your selections, and then select Export again. To continue, select Proceed. After you select Export or Proceed, the Send Documents to <Patient Name> window opens, listing the selected documents. To search the list of documents, enter the first few letters of the name.
