The forwarded message is still available in the
Inbox of all users in the distribution list. The

icon appears in the
Read Status column. Other users can open the message and check the
History section to find out who the message is forwarded to. You can access the forwarded item from your
Outbox folder.
Note: When you forward or receive from a patient to another practice user or a forwarded message from an internal user, the Open Chart button in the message is enabled only if the patient who sent the original message has a chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
