Copy the Crystal Reports to the Report Path
Locate the
Distributed Reports
folder on the server.
Open the
Crystal Reports
folder.
The
Crystal Reports
folder opens displaying the sub folders within it.
Double-click the
Patient Portal
folder to open it.
Select all files within the folder and copy them.
Locate the directory specified in the Universal Preferences.
Paste the copied files into the directory.
All of the copied report files are moved to the directory that you specified.

Set Up SAP Crystal Reports
Only reports already created in the SAP Crystal Reports application and placed in the directory specified in the Universal Preferences appear on the Report Setup Dialog window. To generate, print, or fax SAP Crystal Reports you must set up each report and assign it to a printer. From the NextGen® Enterprise EHR File menu, select Reports > Crystal Reports. On the Report Dialog window, select Report Setup. The Report Setup Dialog window opens. From Report File, select one of the available report files. Select the plus button for All encounters for All Patient. Select a Location for your report. Note: Only providers at the selected location can access the report. If you leave the Location field blank, providers from all locations can access the report. Select a Printer. Optional: Select the one of the following options in the Filter By section: System Enterprise Practice Optional: Select Use Report Server. Note: To use this feature you must have the NextGen Report Server properly set up.

Set Up a Printer
If you do not set up or select a printer, your portal report is printed using the default printer. From the NextGen® Enterprise EHR File menu, select Reports > Crystal Reports. On the Report Dialog window, select Report Setup. The Report Setup window opens. Select Printer Setup. From the Printer Name list, select a printer. In the Alias field, enter a printer name. Initial Setup
Before you begin Ensure that all SAP Crystal Reports are be placed in a specified location in the NextGenRoot folder. Copy the SAP Crystal Reports from the original location in the NextGenRoot folder to a location specified in the Reports Universal Preference. Note: Standard reports must be copied from the Distributed Reports/Crystal Reports folder to the pertinent location specified in the Universal Preference. After the reports are copied to the appropriate location, set up and generate them using the Report Dialog window in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In Windows Explorer, locate the reports folder on the server. Open the Crystal Reports sub-folder and the appropriate folder for the reports you wish to copy, for example, Medications. Select Edit > Select All. Select Edit > Copy. Open the C:\NextGen directory and navigate to the appropriate directory specified in the Universal Preference. Select Edit > Paste. Copy the Immunizations Detail Report to the NextGen Root Directory
CAUTION: You can select only one report format (that is, original, CDC format, Detail) when copying the Immunizations Summary report to the NextGen Root directory. If you select the Immunizations Detail report instead of the Immunizations Summary report (original or CDC format), it is the only report that the user can generates from the Immunizations tab toolbar. Access the report file (vaccineSummary.rpt) from the Distributed Reports, Crystal Reports, Orders Reports list. Copy the report file to your practice’s location for SAP Crystal reports. Save the report as vaccineSummary.rpt. Note: For the Immunizations Summary report, copy the reports from \Distributed Reports\Crystal Reports to your Reports path. This path is defined in System Administrator > View > Universal Preferences > Reports > Reports Path.
