Apply Filters and View Inbox Messages

NextGen® Enterprise Patient Portal displays all received and sent messages in the corresponding folders by default. However, you can apply filters and review specific timeline messages. You can also apply the filters in the following scenarios:
  • When Patient-Specific View is turned on.
  • When applying filters from the Display list.
  • When assigning as Delegates.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then select Inbox.
  2. In the Workflow window, select Patient Portal tab.
    The Inbox section opens under Communications.
  3. To view specific inbox messages, right-click anywhere in Inbox, and then select from the following:
    • Include Read Items
    • Include Replied-To Items
    • Include Completed Items
    • Include Items Accepted by Others
    The corresponding messages appear based on the selected filters.
