View Portal Communications
- On the NextGen® Enterprise PM main toolbar, select Mailbox .
The NextGen Mailbox window opens.
- From the list in the upper-right corner of the window, select Patient Portal.
Important: The Patient Portal option does not appear in the list if your NextGen® PxP Portal license is not available or has expired.A list of patient portal folders appears in the left pane. A list of messages appears in the right pane. The Mailbox folders having unread messages appear in bold type along with the number of unread messages in parentheses.
- To view all the communication sent and received for the selected patient, select Patient-Specific View.
Note: The count of unread or unsent messages in the Communications and Appointments folders refreshes every time you switch between full view and patient-specific view.
- To view specific timeline messages that are older than three months, select from the Display list.
Note: The Display filter list is not available for the Drafts and Scheduled folders under Communications.
