Vitals

The Vitals section allows you to enter vitals for today’s visit, see historical data and vitals graphs, and easily access the Health Promotion Plan template. Alerts above the grid indicate vital signs that are outside of normal range. If the following vital signs are entered for that visit, they are shown in the Vitals field: The time the data was entered Blood pressure Patient’s height and weight BMI Temperature Reported pain on a scale from 0-10 Vitals field on the Intake template Enter Vital Signs Edit Vital Signs View Historical Vital Signs Vital Signs Graphs Health Promotion Plan Parent topic: Patient Intake Details

Exams

To open an exam, click on its name in the left side navigation pane. Each exam (body area) has its own template. Exams that are most pertinent to the current workflow are shown at the top of the list. You can scroll down to see additional links. Data entered on exam templates is shown in the large grid below the Vitals information on the Physical Exam panel. Each exam template has side navigation to open related templates. For example, shown directly below is the template page that opens when you click the Fracture link. Note that links to other fracture templates are at the top of the left navigation bar. Exam template All exam templates have the QuickPick option to fill in information, as well as the Get Data functionality to pull data forward from previous encounters with the patient. Enter Vital Signs

You can enter vitals for today’s visit. Click the Add button next to the Vitals grid. Adult Vital Signs template The Vital Signs template opens. Enter measurements in the fields. Click Save to save data you have entered. Click Close. Note: Vitals and alerts are viewable on the Physical Exam sections of other workflow templates. The vitals are shown in the grid. Enter Vital Signs

Use the Vital Signs link to document vital signs obtained during the visit. Select the Vital Signs link. The Vital Signs template opens. Select the Add button on the Vital Signs template. The Vital Signs (Adult or Pediatric) template opens. Vital Signs template Document vital signs information such as Height, Weight, BP and Pulse. Select Save. Select Close to close the template. Buttons and Checkboxes in Vital Signs Panel

You can find the buttons and checkboxes for documenting patient details in the Vital Signs panel. The following buttons and links are available in the Vital Signs panel. Button/Links Description Add Allows you to add information. Edit Allows you to review and make the required changes to the documented vital signs. Remove Allows you to delete a vital sign record. History Allows you to view the vital signs details in a tabular format. Graph Opens graphical views of the data based on the specialty and age of the patient. You can review the vital signs of a patient using the Vital Signs panel that displays the patient's vital signs documented by the Intake staff. You can manage vital signs associated with the patient.
