In the surgery scheduling process, the Date of Surgery is not required and can be skipped if not known at the time of the order.
- From the Home template, click the Surgery Sched link.
- To enter a date of surgery, click the Date of Surgery field to open a calendar pop-up.
The system fills the Admit Date field with the same date. You can edit the Admit Date.
- Enter the surgery Location. The location picklist is configurable.
