Add a Diagnosis to Plan

The Diagnosis grid displays the patient’s diagnoses. You can add a diagnosis for today’s visit or use one from the Diagnosis grid. Filter the grid by selecting the Orthopedic or Medical option above the Diagnosis grid. Click Add under the grid to launch the Common Assessment template or click Problem IT if using IMO. Select a diagnosis to add to the patient’s history. Click Save & Close. Select a diagnosis from the Diagnosis grid to add it to today’s plan. The selected diagnosis moved to the Diagnosis field. Note: For the multi-fracture template, you can select the second and third diagnosis from the Diagnosis grid and the diagnosis are assigned to the Fracture 2 and Fracture 3 field respectively. Add New Diagnoses from the Common Assessment Template

The Diagnosis grid displays the patient’s diagnoses. The grid defaults to Orthopedic to show Orthopedic-specific diagnoses. The Medical options displays other clinical diagnoses. Click Add under the grid to launch the Common Assessment template. Select a diagnosis to add to the patient’s history. Click Save & Close. Medical Decision Making

You can enter in the plan information. Each body area has its own plan section. The plan includes any verbal counseling done, medications, office procedures, diagnostic tests, labs, DME’s, patient education, and an area to designate follow-up visits. These fields are all picklist-driven and fully configurable within the Picklist Configuration template. You can enter data multiple different ways: Click each field to select items from configurable picklist. Click on the star or double star icons in the QuickPick Toolbar at the top of the Fracture Care template or from the MDM button that opens the MDM template to load a template default. Medical Decision Making (MDM)

You can enter plan information. A plan may include any verbal counseling done, medications, office procedures, diagnostic tests, labs, DME, patient education, and designated follow-up visits. You can enter data in these ways: Click Get Data to load in MDM information from previous encounter. Click the star or double star icon in the QuickPick toolbar to load a template default. Select radio buttons, click fields to select entries from picklists, or click fields to type comments or add additional items. Assessment and Plan for Multiple Fracture

The Assessment and Plan panel on the FC Multiple FX enables the provider to submit up to three fracture care diagnoses codes, with procedure codes and details for each. It also allows you to document the plan for each code, verbal counseling, and next visit information. It provides quick links to cast or splint, DME, and office procedures. Enter Plan Information

Entering a plan includes documenting Management (for example, medications, office procedures, DME), Diagnostics (procedures, tests, labs, consults) Instructions to the patient, and Printed Materials given to the patient. This panel also has an area to enter Verbal Counseling and one to designate Next Visit time frame and X-rays. The fields (except Verbal Counseling) are picklist-driven and configurable in the Picklist Configuration template. You can enter data in these ways: Click fields to select items from configurable picklists. Click on the star or double star icon in the QuickPick Toolbar at the top of the Non-Billable Visit template to load a template default. Type text in the Verbal Counseling fields to describe verbal counseling. Once all information has been entered, sign off on the template (if not utilizing PAQ functionality) and click the Finalize button to open the Finalize Visit template to submit charges.
