Assessment and Plan Panel- NBV Multiple FX

The Assessment and Plan panel on the NBV Multiple Fractures template enables provider to document a post-op visit for the initial fracture care procedures, the plan, verbal counseling, and next visit information. The system moves the diagnoses to the Fracture 1, Fracture 2, Fracture 3 fields in the order they are selected in the Diagnosis grid. Assessment and Plan (MDM) Panel

The Assessment and Plan panel enables the provider to select the diagnosis for today’s plan, and enter today’s plan, next visit information, and verbal counseling. Assessment and Plan panel on the Non Billable Visit template The Diagnosis grid shows the patient’s diagnoses. The system defaults to the Orthopedic option to view Orthopedic-specific diagnoses. Medical Decision Making

You can enter in the plan information. Each body area has its own plan section. The plan includes any verbal counseling done, medications, office procedures, diagnostic tests, labs, DME’s, patient education, and an area to designate follow-up visits. These fields are all picklist-driven and fully configurable within the Picklist Configuration template. You can enter data multiple different ways: Click each field to select items from configurable picklist. Click on the star or double star icons in the QuickPick Toolbar at the top of the Fracture Care template or from the MDM button that opens the MDM template to load a template default. The Assessment and Plan panel enables the provider to select the diagnosis for today’s plan, enter today’s plan in, next visit information, and verbal counseling. Assessment and Plan panel on the NB Preop V5 template The Diagnosis grid displays the patient’s diagnoses. The filter options default to Orthopedic to view the patient’s orthopedic-specific diagnoses. Select Medical to view additional diagnoses. To add a diagnosis for today’s visit, select the diagnosis from the grid. Note: If a diagnosis is not listed in the grid, click Add to launch the Common Assessments template or Problem IT to launch the IMO template. The diagnosis is moved to a Today’s Diagnosis field. You can enter items in the Management, Instructions and Overflow fields by using the configurable picklists or using the default save functionality referred to as a QuickPick. Medical Decision Making (MDM)

You can enter plan information. A plan may include any verbal counseling done, medications, office procedures, diagnostic tests, labs, DME, patient education, and designated follow-up visits. You can enter data in these ways: Click Get Data to load in MDM information from previous encounter. Click the star or double star icon in the QuickPick toolbar to load a template default. Select radio buttons, click fields to select entries from picklists, or click fields to type comments or add additional items. Non-Billable Fracture Care Post-Op Workflow

Each fracture care template has a corresponding non-billable fracture care template such as NBV Single Fx, NBV Multiple FX, and NBV Poly-Trauma FX follow-up. The non-billable fracture care templates are accessed by clicking the Non-Billable tab and selecting the desired template. These templates enable you to document a follow-up visit for the initial fracture care visit. Each of these templates has four panels; Surgical Information, History, Physical Exam, and Assessment and Plan. Copy Previous Surgery Details You can copy details of previous surgeries for assessment and planning of the polytrauma fracture care on the NBV PolyTrauma template. Patient History for Post-Operative Visits You can associate surgical procedures with post-operative visits, and document a patient's history for post-operative visits.
