Disable Get Data Functionality for the Fields Excluded from QuickPick Set

Exclusions and Inclusions

You can use the Exclusions and Inclusions panel to: Set fields that are excluded from QuickPick sets Enable or Disable Get Data functionality Set fields that are included in Get Data Note: As a default, the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite sets all patient-specific information such as diagnosis, timeframe, and so on as excluded from QuickPicks. Managing Exclusions and Inclusions

You can manage the Get Data functionality and the fields that are excluded from QuickPicks. You can use the Exclusions and Inclusions panel of the Specialty QuickPick Manager template to do the following: Set fields that are excluded from QuickPicks Manage the Get Data functionality Set fields that are included in the Get Data functionality Note: The details that are saved for QuickPicks are also used as a part of Quick Visits. A Quick Visit is a group of QuickPicks used to fill information easily for subsequent patient visits that have the same chief complaint. Disable Dictation Feature for a Practice

On the Practice Configuration practice template, expand the Dictation panel. To remove dictation option from the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates for all members of a practice, select the Disable dictation for this practice check box. NextGen® Orthopedic Suite Home

You can use the Home template to access all the modules of the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite and view the summary of the medical and surgical history, medications, allergies, injections, and diagnostic tests for a patient. The recommended workflow is to begin a patient encounter on the Home template. From the Home template, you can use the workflow tabs and the links to access various templates of the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite. You can initiate a Scribe Encounter only on the Home template. You can also configure the Home template to exclude the radiology tests with the Cancelled or Error status in the All Internal Radiology Orders grid. Get Data

The Get Data button speeds up documentation by loading information into templates based on how it was entered for a previous encounter with the patient. You can use it to enter information on Exams, HPI, and MDM, and in other places in the application where it is enabled. When not enabled, the Get Data button is gray.
