Finalize Visit
template, click the
Dictate
button.
The
IORTSfinalize Po
template opens.
Select the appropriate boxes under
Fracture Care
for the sections in which dictation was used.
If radiology tests were performed and dictation used to record them, click the
Radiology Dictated
check mark.
If dictation was used to review outside diagnostic studies, click the check mark above the
Outside Diagnostic Studies
grid.
Click
Save & Close

Document Dictation Use in the Encounter
If dictation is configured for your practice, the Dictate button and No Dictation check box appear at the top of the Finalize Visit template. Misc. Dictation If you performed a radiology test and used dictation to record the information, click the Radiology Dictated check mark. Select the Fracture Care Visit Type
In a fracture care visit, no E&M code is displayed in the E&M Code field. Use the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid to submit an office visit. On the Finalize Visit template, in the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid, click Fracture Care Visit. If dictation is enabled, the IORTSfinalize Po template opens. Manage the Pre-Operative Visit to Submit Charges
You can add or remove the pre-operative visit to submit charges and finalize a visit. On the appropriate template, click Finalize Visit in the workflow tab. The Finalize Visit template opens. To add Pre-Op to the coding grid of the Finalize Visit template, do the following: Select Pre-Op from the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid. The IORTSfinalize Po window opens. Finalize visit checklist for pre-operative checklist The IORTSfinalize Po window opens only if dictation for the provider or practice is configured in the Dictation panel on the Practice Configuration template. If the dictation is not configured, the Pre-Op option is added as an entry in the coding grid, and a check mark appears for the Pre-Op option in the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid. Performing Dictation
You can perform dictation before finalizing a patient visit on the Finalize Visit template. You can use the Dictate button and No Dictation check box on the Finalize Visit template for performing dictation. The Dictate button and No Dictation check box appear only if the dictation feature is configured in the Dictation panel on the Practice Configuration template. Dictation on the Finalize Visit template If you dictate using a method that delivers dictation directly to the NextGen® Enterprise EHR (for example, NextGen® Mobile or Nuance® Dragon), you need not configure dictation so that the use of dictation does not require additional steps before the office note can be generated. Manage the Post-Operative Global Visit to Submit Charges
You can add or remove the post-operative global visit to submit charges and finalize a visit. For a post-operative visit, the evaluation and management (E&M) code is not displayed in the field next to the E&M Key button on the Finalize Visit template. You can use the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid to add or remove an office visit. On the applicable template, click Finalize Visit in the workflow tab. The Finalize Visit template opens. Remove a Fracture Care Visit Code
