Fracture Care Visit
code, if entered by mistake.
Deselect the office visit in the
Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care
grid.
The code is also removed from the coding grid.

Select the Fracture Care Visit Type
In a fracture care visit, no E&M code is displayed in the E&M Code field. Use the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid to submit an office visit. On the Finalize Visit template, in the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid, click Fracture Care Visit. If dictation is enabled, the IORTSfinalize Po template opens. Assessments
The Today’s Diagnosis grid pulls diagnoses entered on the Fracture Care templates. Any diagnoses with a check mark is added to the corresponding procedure codes in the coding grid. Manage the Pre-Operative Visit to Submit Charges
You can add or remove the pre-operative visit to submit charges and finalize a visit. On the appropriate template, click Finalize Visit in the workflow tab. The Finalize Visit template opens. To add Pre-Op to the coding grid of the Finalize Visit template, do the following: Select Pre-Op from the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid. The IORTSfinalize Po window opens. Finalize visit checklist for pre-operative checklist The IORTSfinalize Po window opens only if dictation for the provider or practice is configured in the Dictation panel on the Practice Configuration template. If the dictation is not configured, the Pre-Op option is added as an entry in the coding grid, and a check mark appears for the Pre-Op option in the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid. Manage the Post-Operative Global Visit to Submit Charges
You can add or remove the post-operative global visit to submit charges and finalize a visit. For a post-operative visit, the evaluation and management (E&M) code is not displayed in the field next to the E&M Key button on the Finalize Visit template. You can use the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid to add or remove an office visit. On the applicable template, click Finalize Visit in the workflow tab. The Finalize Visit template opens. Coding Procedures
You can view all procedures, diagnoses, and modifiers that need to be billed for the current encounter to finalize a visit. The coding grid on the Finalize Visit template displays the following items that need to be billed for the current encounter. Procedures Diagnoses Modifiers Orders for durable medical equipment (DME) that are dispensed by your practice The following details are displayed for each item in the coding grid. Visit type Billing status of the procedure Description of the procedure to be billed Primary diagnosis codes after it is been coded Modifiers Code being sent for billing Coding grid on the Finalize Visit template The billing status is displayed as Coded for the items that have a diagnosis code, and the billing status is blank for the items without a diagnosis code. After you submit the charges, the billing status is displayed as Submitted for all items in the coding grid. Document Dictation Use in the Fracture Care Visit
On the Finalize Visit template, click the Dictate button. The IORTSfinalize Po template opens. Finalize visit checklist for Non billable post operative fracture care Select the appropriate boxes under Fracture Care for the sections in which dictation was used. If radiology tests were performed and dictation used to record them, click the Radiology Dictated check mark.
