Add a Diagnostic Study to the HPI Grid

You can add a diagnostic study that is reviewed during the encounter to the history of present illness (HPI). Open one of the following: History Summary panel Historical Diagnostic Tests - OPH template Diagnostic History Entry template Select a diagnostic study with a documented Result or Interpretation.The Add to HPI Grid button is enabled. Note: The Add to HPI Grid button is only enabled if the selected study has a documented Result or Interpretation. Filter the Historical Diagnostic Tests - OPH Grids

You can filter the diagnostic tests and test history on the Historical Diagnostic Tests - OPH template. To filter the tests displayed in the Diagnostic Test History grid, select one of the following Show options: Ordered Obtained Completed All tests The Diagnostic Test History grid displays tests based on the selected option. To filter the Additional Test History grid, click View and select one of the following: All Amsler grid Aniseikonia test Exophthalmometry Glare/Contrast Horizontal corneal diameter Ishihara color test PAM/RAM acuity meter Schirmer w/ Anesth Schirmer w/o Anesth Stereo acuity Stereo vision Worth 4 dot test The grid displays test history based on the selected View option. Historical Diagnostic Tests

You can view historical data for diagnostic tests for the patient on the Historical Diagnostic Tests - OPH template, which you can access from the left navigation pane. The Add to HPI button adds the selected diagnostic study with an Interpretation or Result to the grid in the Reason for Visit panel. Providers can also add entries to the Diagnostic Test History grid. Remove a Studies Reviewed from Reason for Visit

Diagnostic studies added to the history of present illness in the Reason for Visit panel appear in the grid with Studies Reviewed in the Reason for Visit column. On the Intake- OPH template, expand the Reason for Visit panel. Select the Studies Reviewed record from the grid. The Remove button will be enabled. Click Remove. The Studies Reviewed record no longer appears in the grid. Note: Removing the record from the grid in the Reason for Visit panel does not remove it from the historical diagnostic tests or orders grids. Parent topic: Reason for Visit

Remove Reviewed Diagnostic Studies

You can remove the diagnostic studies from the Reason for Visit panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. In the Reason for Visit panel, do one of the following: Select the Studies Reviewed record from the grid, and then select Remove. Select Diagnostics to open the Diagnostic History Entry template, then select a diagnostic study from the grid, and select Remove from HPI Grid. Note: To turn on the Remove from HPI Grid button, you must select a study that is previously added to the grid on the Diagnostic History Entry template. The Studies Reviewed row no longer appears in the grid of the Reason for Visit panel. Note: Removing the record from the Reason for Visit panel does not remove it from the grid on the Diagnostic History Entry template or the History Summary panel.
