Remove a Historical Diagnostic Test from the HPI Grid

On the Historical Diagnostic Tests - OPH template, select a diagnostic test that was added to the HPI grid. The Remove from HPI Grid button is enabled. Click Remove from HPI Grid. The Studies Reviewed record no longer appears in the grid in the Reason for Visit panel. Note: Removing the record from the grid in the Reason for Visit panel does not remove it from the historical diagnostic tests or orders grids. Parent topic: Historical Diagnostic Tests

Historical Diagnostic Tests

You can view historical data for diagnostic tests for the patient on the Historical Diagnostic Tests - OPH template, which you can access from the left navigation pane. The Add to HPI button adds the selected diagnostic study with an Interpretation or Result to the grid in the Reason for Visit panel. Providers can also add entries to the Diagnostic Test History grid. You can add historical diagnostic studies to the history of present illness in Reason for Visit of the Diagnostic History Entry template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Diagnostic History Entry template, select a diagnostic study that is entered in the current encounter with a documented Result or Interpretation.The Add to HPI Grid button is turned on. Note: The Add to HPI Grid button is turned on if the selected study is created in the current encounter and has a documented Result or Interpretation. Patient's History Summary

The History Summary panel on the Intake-OPH template enables you to document a patient's past medical or surgical history, interim, social, family, diagnostic study, and glucose monitoring history. It also displays the patient history documented by the Intake staff on the Histories template. You can also add diagnostic studies with a documented Result or Interpretation to the grid in the Reason for Visit panel by clicking the Add to HPI Grid button. The grid includes a list of categories in the left pane to select and view the documented data. Document Diagnostic Study Results

You can document the diagnostics study results in the Diagnostic History Entry template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Histories template. In the Diagnostic Studies panel, select Add.The Diagnostic History Entry template opens. Select a diagnostic study from the grid. In the Study Result section, select Interpretation and select a status. In Result, enter a brief synopsis or interpretation of the result. In Comments, enter your comments or use the My Phrases link. Select Add to HPI Grid.The selected diagnostic study is added to the Reason for Visit panel as Studies Reviewed. Note: The Add to HPI Grid button is allowed only if the selected study is created in the current encounter and has a documented Result or Interpretation. Select OK.
