Place Orders with My Plan
- On the My Plan template, highlight an assessment in the upper left of the template in the Today's Assessments grid.
- Select the check boxes corresponding to items to be ordered.
- To select an order item not displayed:
- Click the down-arrow of an available field in the appropriate order type section to open a list of all items available in the system for that order type.
- Locate the item you want to order in the list, highlight it and click OK.
The selected item appears in the field.
- Select the check box corresponding to the item to order it.
- Click Place Order.
When you place orders for labs and radiology diagnostic studies, you or someone from your office must process and submit them to the Order module.
- Click the Lab/Diagnostics/Radiology Order Module Processing link found in the lower right corner of the template to launch the Process and Submit Lab/Radiology Orders template.
Lab or Radiology order processing can also be done from the Checkout template.
Note: The Lab/Diagnostics/Radiology Order Module Processing link turns pink to indicate that orders are waiting to be processed. For Ophthalmology, diagnostic test orders can be configured to be sent directly to the Order module without having to perform this step by using the Ophthalmology diagnostic tests data set and the Order Tests - OPH template.
