Pachymetry Exam
The Pachymetry panel displays current and previous encounter exam findings. You can view a history of Pachymetry exam findings on the Oph EyeTech History template by selecting the Historical Pachymetry link.
The Pachymetry panel can be found on the following templates:
Prelim Exam – OPH – used for technician workflow
Provider – OPH – used for provider workflow
Oph EyeTech – used for documenting technician exam findings; displays historical data
Testing - Oph – used for documenting additional diagnostic studies and tests that can be performed by either technicians or providers, such as Pachymetry
You can document Pachymetry findings on the Testing - OPH template.
Pachymetry measures the thickness of the cornea. Single peripheral pachymetry fields for OD and OS values used in previous versions are replaced with new fields so that values can be documented for each quadrant: Superior-temporal, Inferior-temporal, Superior-nasal, and Inferior-nasal. As a result, single peripheral pachymetry values for OD and OS only appear if historical data exists for the patient.
