Before you begin
A chief complaint must be documented in the Chief complaint details grid.
After the provider has signed off on the ophthalmic chief complaint, you must make additional edits in the Provider HPI Details section of the HPI Generic OPH template.
- To edit a chief complaint on the HPI Generic OPH template, highlight the row in the Chief complaint details grid.
The highlighted chief complaint appears in the
Concern(s) field.
Note: If you select retina from the Chief complaints details grid, the system displays an alert above the grid and changes the fields on the HPI Generic OPH template to read-only
- In the Provider HPI Details section, make changes to the chief complaint.
- Click Update.
The grid refreshes and displays the edited complaint.
