To add narrative documentation through dictation or the keyboard in Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP) sections, select Dictate.
Note: You can use Dictate only if you have NextGen® Enterprise EHR 5.9.4 or later versions.
To use natural conversation between the provider and patient to create a structured SOAP note immediately after the patient visit, select Ambient.
Note: To view Ambient in the Patient Chart view, you must have the Ambient permission turned on for your product group in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal.
