NextGen Mobile Dictation Classic Workflow

You can use the classic dictation (non-rhythm) workflow to naturally dictate the narrative of the patient visit. NextGen® Mobile handles the editing and delivery, and you are free to perform other tasks. Record Dictation without Tags

Google™ Speech-to-text (STT) in integration with Gemini™ 1.5 Pro model automatically corrects the dictated notes for grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors without disrupting the dictation streaming service. Note: The transcription system can only process and refine the content of more than fifty characters in length. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open a dictation job. Select Record Dictation, and then begin speaking. Record dictation without tags while the text box is open Audio waves track your dictation, and a timer displays the duration. To stop or pause your dictation, select Stop.The dictation text is processed, and the text box displays the refined note with the Transcription Complete message. Recording view After you complete your dictation, select Send. Note: when the transcription system processes and completes the transcription of the dictated notes, you can edit the dictation text without changing the associated audio file. Select the tag you want to dictate into.If the tag does not contain previously recorded audio, the recording begins immediately, and the STOP icon appears. If the tag contains previously recorded audio, the REC icon appears, and you have to select the tag again to record. Begin speaking.The audio waves track your dictation, and the timer displays the current location of the recording head and the total duration of the recording. Dictating When the Text Box Is Open

If you have the appropriate permission, you can use the Hide Streaming Text option in the Settings view to turn on and off the text box while dictating. When the text box is open while recording, you can view your dictation text with the dictation streaming workflow. The dictation streaming workflow is as follows: Record Dictation Ready to record the dictation. Listening Listening to your dictation. Processing Correcting the dictated note for grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors. Note: The transcription system can only process and refine content greater than fifty characters in length. Transcript Complete! Transcription is done, and the dictated note is available. Google™ speech-to-text (STT) does not record and process the dictated note in the following situations: If you select the back button or open other windows while recording the dictation or processing the dictated note.
