Inserting Macros in Dictation
You can use macros in NextGen® Mobile dictation streaming workflows to save time and improve documentation consistency. Macros substitute frequently-used text for shorter expressions during dictation. For example, you can quickly insert a standard set of instructions into your dictation text by mentioning the appropriate macro. You can document common or generic clinical notes with MY MACROS to reuse during dictation in the Edit Dictator view of NextGen® Mobile Settings. When new macros are added in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal, and if the macros do not work in NextGen® Mobile for dictations, you must reopen the NextGen® Mobile application and try inserting the macros in your dictations.
