You can create an image-only job that can include up to five images, each with its own unique description. When the job is sent, the images are saved to the patient chart.
- Open NextGen® Mobile.
- Open the Patient Chart view.
- Select

The Camera Options menu appears.
- Select Take Photo.
Your device's camera opens.
- Capture the image and select Use Photo.
The job selection view opens.
- To select a job type, select Job Type.
The Job Types view opens.
- Select a job type from the list.
The job selection view opens with the selected job type.
- To provide a description for the image, select Description.
- To add more images, select
.
You can add maximum of 5 images to an image-only job.
- To delete an image from the job, do the following:
- Select the image.
The image appears maximized.
- Select

A confirmation message appears.
- Select OK.
- To assign a category to the image for classification within NextGen® Enterprise EHR, select Category.
Note: Image categories are defined in File Maintenance. You must contact NextGen Customer Support to configure a category to use for image-only jobs. For more information, contact NextGen Customer Support.
- To send the image only job, select Send.
The job is sent to NextGen® Enterprise EHR and the images are uploaded to the patient's chart. A completion icon appears on the Schedule view.
