Add Comments to a Charge

You can add comments to charges to provide additional information about the charge. Comments are used for internal purposes only. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Patient Chart view In the Charges section, select New Charge. The New Charge view opens. New Charge view Select Add Comment. The Comments view opens. Enter your comments. Select New Charge. Associate Diagnoses to Charges

Any existing diagnosis entered in NextGen® Enterprise EHR for the encounter appear at the top of the view. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Patient Chart view In the Charges section, select New Charge. The New Charge view opens. New Charge view Enter the charge details. Select Next. The Associate Dx view opens. Associate Dx view Select Add Diagnosis. The Add Diagnosis view opens. Select a diagnosis from the Previous Patient Diagnosis or Commonly Used Diagnosis section. You can search for a diagnosis by entering your text in Search. The Associate Dx view opens with the selected diagnosis. You can add multiple diagnosis. Select Submit. Add Charges for Patients

You can search and add charges for a patient. If you are a NextGen® Enterprise user, when you search for a charge, NextGen® Mobile searches your practice's Service Item Master (SIM) library. If you are not a NextGen® Enterprise user, NextGen® Mobile does an IMO code search. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Patient Chart view In the Charges section, select New Charge. The New Charge view opens. New Charge view Note: The Date of Service displays the current date. To change the Date of Service, select the date. The calendar opens. You can select a date and then select . Note: You cannot select a future date. To select a charge, select the charge in the Quick Picks section. The Quick Picks section displays either the charges that you have used at least twice for the patient or the charges appropriate for the current location. The selected charge appears below the service date heading. To search for a charge, do the following: Enter the search text in the Search New Charge

Create Image-Only Jobs

You can create an image-only job that can include up to five images, each with its own unique description. When the job is sent, the images are saved to the patient chart. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Select Camera icon.The Camera Options menu appears. Select Take Photo.Your device's camera opens. Capture the image and select Use Photo.The job selection view opens. Job Selection View To select a job type, select Job Type.The Job Types view opens. Select a job type from the list.The job selection view opens with the selected job type. To provide a description for the image, select Description. To add more images, select Camera icon.You can add maximum of 5 images to an image-only job. To delete an image from the job, do the following: Select the image.The image appears maximized. Select Delete icon.A confirmation message appears. Select OK. Add Locations

When you add locations in NextGen® Mobile, the location details are sent to NextGen Mobile Cloud Portal for review. You can manually enter the location to NextGen® Enterprise EHR after review. Open NextGen® Mobile The Hub view opens. Select Charges. The Charges view opens. Charges View Select New Patient. Patient details view opens. New Patient Details View Enter the patient details. Select Add. The New Patient Charge view opens with the current date in Date of Encounter. New patient charge view Note: The patient information is sent to NextGen Mobile Cloud Portal for review. You must manually add the patient details to NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select Select Location. The Locations view opens. Select Add New. The Add Location view opens. Add a Web Camera Image to the Patient Chart

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and select a patient. Select an existing encounter from the Encounter History or create an encounter. To open the Images module, do one of the following: On the Top Toolbar, select the Images icon. On the main menu, select File > New > Image. The Open Image File window opens. Select the Camera button.The Camera Capture window opens. The system searches for connected cameras. If it finds one, the image from the camera is displayed. If no camera is present, the window remains blank. To capture the displayed image, select Snapshot. To add the image to the patient chart, select OK.The image is added to the patient's chart.
