Change the Dictator in Settings
Before you begin
Ensure that you have a
NextGen® Enterprise EHR
user license.
From the menu bar in
NextGen® Mobile
, select
Settings
.
In
Settings
, select the necessary dictator.
In
Edit Dictator
, select
Set NextGen Login Defaults
.
In
Set Defaults
, select the provider and location, and then select
Done
.
The current dictator information is updated.

Update Generic Job Types
In Settings, you can update the default generic job type. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to update generic job type for.The Edit Dictator view opens. Select Generic Job Info.The Generic Job Types view opens. Turn on Patient Alerts
Before you begin Ensure that your NextGen® Enterprise credentials are linked to your dictator in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal and you have set your credentials as default on logon. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Users. Search for and then select a username.The User Information tab on the Edit User page opens. In NextGen Username, enter the username to ensure your NextGen® Enterprise username is linked in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal, and then enter the additional information. Update dictator, notification, macro, and dictionary preferences as necessary. Select Save & Close. Reset the User Password You can reset the user password in Manage Clinic. Disable and Enable User Accounts You can deactivate and activate the user accounts in Manage Clinic.
