, you can update the default generic job type.
Open
NextGen® Mobile
.
On the menu bar, select
Settings
.
The
Settings
view opens.
Select the dictator you want to update generic job type for.
The
Edit Dictator
view opens.
Select
Generic Job Info
.
The
Generic Job Types
view opens.
From the
DEFAULT GENERIC JOB TYPE
section, select a job type, and then select
Save
.
The selected job type is saved.

Configure Job Types
In Settings, you can change the default job tags order for your job type. You can also hide or show a job type by swiping from right to left and conversely. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to configure job types for.The Edit Dictator view opens. Select Configure Job Types.The Configure Job Types view opens. Configure Job Types view Select a job type.The Configure Tags view opens. Configure Tags view Select Bar icon next to the corresponding tag, drag and drop the tag to change the order, and then select Done.The existing tags order is updated. Create, Update, and Delete Job List Queues
You can add another provider’s patients to your job list. You can also create, update, and delete a queue group, if needed. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to update queues for.The Edit Dictator view opens. Select Edit Job List Queues.The Edit Job List Queues view opens. In the QUEUES section, search for and select queues.The selected queues are saved. Edit Job List Queues view To create a job list queue group, select Plus Icon, select the corresponding checkboxes you want to create the group with, and then select Next. Enter Name Group, and then select Ok.The group appears with the selected queues count in the GROUPS section. Change the Dictator in Settings
Before you begin Ensure that you have a NextGen® Enterprise EHR user license. From the menu bar in NextGen® Mobile, select Settings. In Settings, select the necessary dictator. In Edit Dictator, select Set NextGen Login Defaults. In Set Defaults, select the provider and location, and then select Done. The current dictator information is updated. Configure Default Send Preferences
In Settings, you can set default send preferences for jobs to send data after completing a dictation or device edit. Note: By default, the preferences configured in Admin Console are displayed in NextGen® Mobile. Note: The Record Screen Default Send and Text Editor Default Send options are available for the Rhythm dictator. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to configure send preferences for.The Edit Dictator view opens. From the Record Screen Default Send list, select a preference for the record screen.The selected preference appears next to Record Screen Default Send. Add Generic Dictation Jobs for New Patients
Before you begin To add patient demographic information to a generic job, ensure that your clinic sets up a job type to provide tags to dictate demographic information. You can add a generic job for a new patient in unscheduled encounters, or a patient visiting another provider. You can add generic jobs for the current date. Open NextGen® Mobile.Hubopens. Select Jobs.Details of the available jobs on the current date appear. If another provider queue is added to your job list, the provider job queue indicator appears with the job type. To add a job, do one of the following: Select the add icon, and then select New Job. From the toolbar, select Dictate to opening the patient chart, and then select Create. To add a job using offline dictation when the device is not connected to a wireless or cellular network, raise a support request in NextGen Healthcare Success Community. Add Dictation Jobs
Before you begin You must configure Access to Mobile Job List for your permission group in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. You can search for, filter, and delete recorded dictation jobs in Jobs in Hub. You can add jobs for an unscheduled patient encounter and make records of phone calls, texts, or emails. You can also restore a deleted job to the job list by opening a case in NextGen Healthcare Success Community. Note: If the Access to Image Only Job List option is turned on in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal, you can only view image jobs and cannot create jobs. Open NextGen® Mobile.Hubopens.
