Managing Patient Alerts

If your clinic is enabled to support patient alerts, you can view the patient alerts by selecting Alerts icon on the Patient Chart view. Note: You must link your NextGen® Enterprise credentials to your dictator in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal and set your credentials as default on logon. Patient Alerts View When a patient has alerts that require your acknowledgement, the Patient Alerts window automatically opens the alerts every time you open the Patient Chart window. You can select Acknowledge to acknowledge all the alerts and quit the view. You can select Acknowledge and Snooze on the Patient Alerts window and select a duration for the alert to snooze. The patient alert does not appear again until the set time expires. Note: You can refresh the Patient Alerts window by swiping down on the screen. Change the Dictator in Settings

Before you begin Ensure that you have a NextGen® Enterprise EHR user license. From the menu bar in NextGen® Mobile, select Settings. In Settings, select the necessary dictator. In Edit Dictator, select Set NextGen Login Defaults. In Set Defaults, select the provider and location, and then select Done. The current dictator information is updated. Turn On Patient Summary in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal

You must turn on the Patient Summary option in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal to make the Patient Summary button available in the NextGen® Mobile patient chart. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Permission Groups. Search for and select the group. Edit Permission Group opens. Edit Permission Group tab In the Products tab, assign the mobile products. Select the Permissions tab, and then in Mobile : Patient Details, select the Patient summary checkbox. Patient summary option in permission group Select Save, and then select Save & Close. Set Up Your Profile

You can configure your account profile settings, including personal information, password management, enrollment notifications, and dashboard preferences, in My Profile. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select your username.My Profile opens. In Manage Your Profile, enter the necessary information. You can select Default Tab to automatically open the specified tab when you open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. In Manage Your Password, enter and confirm your password. To view the job activity for dictating providers in your clinic on the dashboard, in Dashboard Configuration, select the Select All checkbox or choose from the Select Providers list. Edit User Information

Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Users. Search for and then select a username.The User Information tab on the Edit User page opens. In NextGen Username, enter the username to ensure your NextGen® Enterprise username is linked in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal, and then enter the additional information. Update dictator, notification, macro, and dictionary preferences as necessary. Select Save & Close. Reset the User Password You can reset the user password in Manage Clinic. Disable and Enable User Accounts You can deactivate and activate the user accounts in Manage Clinic. Remove NextGen® Enterprise EHR Alerts
