Change the Dictator in Settings
Before you begin
Ensure that you have a
NextGen® Enterprise EHR
user license.
From the menu bar in
NextGen® Mobile
, select
Settings
.
In
Settings
, select the necessary dictator.
In
Edit Dictator
, select
Set NextGen Login Defaults
.

Set Defaults
, select the provider and location, and then select
Done
.
The current dictator information is updated.

Update Generic Job Types
In Settings, you can update the default generic job type. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to update generic job type for.The Edit Dictator view opens. Select Generic Job Info.The Generic Job Types view opens. Configure Job Types
In Settings, you can change the default job tags order for your job type. You can also hide or show a job type by swiping from right to left and conversely. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to configure job types for.The Edit Dictator view opens. Select Configure Job Types.The Configure Job Types view opens. Configure Job Types view Select a job type.The Configure Tags view opens. Configure Tags view Select Bar icon next to the corresponding tag, drag and drop the tag to change the order, and then select Done.The existing tags order is updated. Configure Default Send Preferences
In Settings, you can set default send preferences for jobs to send data after completing a dictation or device edit. Note: By default, the preferences configured in Admin Console are displayed in NextGen® Mobile. Note: The Record Screen Default Send and Text Editor Default Send options are available for the Rhythm dictator. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to configure send preferences for.The Edit Dictator view opens. From the Record Screen Default Send list, select a preference for the record screen.The selected preference appears next to Record Screen Default Send. Turn on Patient Alerts
Before you begin Ensure that your NextGen® Enterprise credentials are linked to your dictator in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal and you have set your credentials as default on logon. Edit User Information
Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Users. Search for and then select a username.The User Information tab on the Edit User page opens. In NextGen Username, enter the username to ensure your NextGen® Enterprise username is linked in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal, and then enter the additional information. Update dictator, notification, macro, and dictionary preferences as necessary. Select Save & Close. Reset the User Password You can reset the user password in Manage Clinic. Disable and Enable User Accounts You can deactivate and activate the user accounts in Manage Clinic. View, Create, and Edit Dictator Access Groups
You can use Dictator Access Groups to limit the provider data visibility for all users. Users of a dictator access group can only view the dictators assigned to that group. Note: Users not assigned to any dictator access group can view data for all dictators in their clinic. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Dictator Access Groups. Dictator Access Groups opens displaying the list of available dictator access groups in alphabetical order along with the number of users in each group. Search for and select a group name. Edit Dictator Access Group opens. To create a dictator group, select Create New Group, and then do the following: In Group Name, enter a name, and then select Next. Select the add all Add all icon, or select the necessary users and then select the Add icon icon to add the users.
