Configure Job Types

In Settings, you can change the default job tags order for your job type. You can also hide or show a job type by swiping from right to left and conversely. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to configure job types for.The Edit Dictator view opens. Select Configure Job Types.The Configure Job Types view opens. Configure Job Types view Select a job type.The Configure Tags view opens. Configure Tags view Select Bar icon next to the corresponding tag, drag and drop the tag to change the order, and then select Done.The existing tags order is updated. Update Generic Job Types

In Settings, you can update the default generic job type. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to update generic job type for.The Edit Dictator view opens. Select Generic Job Info.The Generic Job Types view opens. Configure Default Send Preferences

In Settings, you can set default send preferences for jobs to send data after completing a dictation or device edit. Note: By default, the preferences configured in Admin Console are displayed in NextGen® Mobile. Note: The Record Screen Default Send and Text Editor Default Send options are available for the Rhythm dictator. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select the dictator you want to configure send preferences for.The Edit Dictator view opens. From the Record Screen Default Send list, select a preference for the record screen.The selected preference appears next to Record Screen Default Send. Selecting Dictation Send Preferences

When you have completed your dictation, you can select the edit selection icon, and then select one of the following options: Edit options Send to EHREHR icon - The recorded dictation goes through speech recognition, and the draft is delivered to NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You must self-edit the draft to ensure accuracy. The recording is available for review in the Completed Jobs list for 48 hours from the time it is sent. Send to TranscriptionTranscription icon - The recorded dictation goes through speech recognition, and the draft is sent to a transcription team for editing. The transcription team listens to the audio, and checks the note against the provided patient demographics. The note is edited and delivered to NextGen® Enterprise EHR within 24 hours. Device EditDevice icon - Only available if you have turned off the Hide Streaming Text option in the Settings view. Record Dictation

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open a dictation job. Select Record Dictation, and then begin dictating. Recording view Stop appears with a timer for recording your dictation. To stop dictating or to pause your dictation, select Stop.The text capture of your dictation appears in the streaming text box. After you complete your dictation, select Send. Note: When the transcription system completes the transcription of the dictated notes, you can edit the dictation text without changing the associated audio file. The dictation is ready for processing and editing in NextGen® Mobile and the job is removed from your job list. The dictation completion icon appears on the Schedule view. Note: To add observations about the dictation in the NextGen Speech-to-Text Survey window, select Take Survey > NextGen Dictation , enter your feedback, and then select Finish and Submit.
