Add, Edit, and Delete Macros for User Accounts

  1. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal.
  2. Select your clinic, select Manage Clinics, and then select Users.
  3. In Users, search for and select a user, and then select the Macros tab.
  4. Select Add New Macro.
    The Add Macro page in Create New Macro Wizard opens.
  5. Enter the name of the macro you want to create.
    If you want to create an ambient listening macro, turn on Ambient, and select a mode. Standard mode adds only the defined macro without extra words during dictation. Ambient Complete mode adds additional words between the existing macro text based on the context.
  6. Select a SOAP section, and then enter the activation phrase and the text you want the macro to generate.
    You can use Load Macro from file to add the macro text from your local file by overriding the existing content.
  7. Select Next to assign dictators, and then select Save.
    The macro is added. You can view, edit, or delete macros in the Macros tab.
