Additional Procedure Information

The Additional Procedure Information panel has grids used to configure picklists for the following fields on the MICS Injections/Aspirationsand MICS MedAdmin OPHtemplates: Technique Anesthetic Gage (of Needle) Improvement Appearance (of fluid aspirated) Medical Necessity Each of the grids in the Additional Procedure Information panel comes pre-loaded with entries, and has a pair of up/down arrows to the right, that you can use to arrange the order that entries in the grid appear in the picklist. The order of items in the grid is the order that items will appear in the picklist. The procedures for adding entries to grids, updating entries,making entries inactive so that they do not show in the picklist, and re-ordering them are the same for all of the grids. Reason for Adjustment

Use the Reason for Adjustment grid to build a picklist of reasons why medication inventory is being adjusted. This picklist opens when you select the Reason for Adjustment field in the Medication Inventory panel of the Inventory Management template. Note: The Reason for Adjustment field is visible only when the Adjust option is selected. Reason for Waste

Use the Reason for Waste grid to add reasons to the picklist for why a medication is being wasted. This picklist opens when you select the Reason for Waste field in the Medication Inventory panel of the Inventory Management template or when you select to waste a medication from the medical record templates. Note: The Reason for Waste field is visible only when the Waste option is selected. Mode of Transfer

Use the Mode of Transfer grid to configure the picklist that opens when you select the Mode of Transfer field in the Transfer Information panel of the Inventory Management template. The Mode of Transfer grid picklist is used for means by which medication inventory is transferred to other locations (For example, Courier, Transported by clinical staff). The Mode of Transfer grid has no pre-loaded entries. Since you cannot type into the Mode of Transfer field, to enter anything in the field, you must add at least one entry to the picklist. Add an Item to a Waste, Adjustment, or Mode of Transfer Picklist

You can add items to any picklist grid that is set to Active. This adds the item to the picklist. Select the field below the grid and type the picklist entry. Select Add to save it to the grid. Medication Picklist Template

Each of the panels in the Medication Picklist template has grids that correspond to picklists on configuration templates or medical record templates. Use the grids to configure the picklists for managing inventory and administering medications.
