Inactivate a Medication
When a medication is no longer used you can change its status from
Active
to
Inactive
.
Make sure the
Active
option is highlighted so you are viewing active medications in the grid.
Select the medication in grid.
A check mark appears to the left of the selected medication.
Select the
Toggle
button.
The medication status becomes inactive.

Filter Medication Information
Use the options above the Medication Information Configuration grid to filter the grid display. The Grid Filter options filter the grid to display All medications, or only Billable or Non-Billable medications. View and Reactivate an Inactive Medication
You can view and restore an inactive medication to the picklist. Select the Inactive option. The grid displays all medication that have been marked as inactive. Select the medication from the Medication Information grid. Select the Toggle button. The medication moves to the Active Medication Information grid. Parent topic: Inactivate a Medication

Deactivate a Medication
Open the Medication Configuration template. Expand the Medication Dispensing Inventory panel. Select the medication in the grid. The medication information appears in the fields. Select the Inactive check box. Medication Dispensing Inventory panel Select Update. The medication disappears from the grid. In Status, select All. Activate a Medication
Open the Medication Configuration template. Expand the Medication Dispensing Inventory panel. Select an inactive medication from the grid. The medication information appears in the fields. Reactivate an Alert
You can restore an Inactive alert to Active status. Select the Inactive option to view inactive alerts in the grid. Select the alert from the grid. Select Toggle. Inactivate an Expiring Medication Alert
You can inactivate any expiring medication alert. This stops the alert from firing and removes it from view when the Active option is selected. Select the entry in the grid.
