Activate a Medication
Open the Medication Configuration template. Expand the Medication Dispensing Inventory panel. Select an inactive medication from the grid.The medication information appears in the fields. Update an Associated SIG and Diagnosis Code
Open the Medication Configuration template. Expand the Medication Dispensing Inventory panel. Select an entry in the grid. In the Associated SIM codes grid, select a SIM code from the list. In the Associated diagnosis codes field, search for and select a diagnosis code. Select Update.The codes appear in the grid. Inactivate a Medication
When a medication is no longer used you can change its status from Active to Inactive. Make sure the Active option is highlighted so you are viewing active medications in the grid. Select the medication in grid. A check mark appears to the left of the selected medication. Select the Toggle button. The medication status becomes inactive. View and Reactivate an Inactive Medication
You can view and restore an inactive medication to the picklist. Select the Inactive option. The grid displays all medication that have been marked as inactive. Select the medication from the Medication Information grid. Select the Toggle button. The medication moves to the Active Medication Information grid. Parent topic: Inactivate a Medication

Filter Medication Information
Use the options above the Medication Information Configuration grid to filter the grid display. The Grid Filter options filter the grid to display All medications, or only Billable or Non-Billable medications. Inactivate an Expiring Medication Alert
You can inactivate any expiring medication alert. This stops the alert from firing and removes it from view when the Active option is selected. Select the entry in the grid.
