Inactivate a Medication
When a medication is no longer used you can change its status from Active to Inactive. Make sure the Active option is highlighted so you are viewing active medications in the grid. Select the medication in grid. A check mark appears to the left of the selected medication. Select the Toggle button. The medication status becomes inactive. Filter the Medications Grid
To filter the medications displayed in the Medications grid, select one of the following options: All - displays all active medications for the patient Ocular - displays only active ocular medications Systemic - displays only active systemic medications oph medication panel Select the Include inactive check box to display both active and inactive medications for the patient. Filter the Completed Medication Grid
You can filter the Completed Medication grid to display all medications or a specific medications. The default is to display All Medications. Select a medication from the Medication Management grid. Select the Selected Medication option. The grid displays all incidents when the selected medication was dispensed or administered through this template. Parent topic: Completed Medications

Field filters
You can use the fields above the grid to search the grid entries by Manufacturer, Drug Name, Unit Type, J-Code and/or NDC number. These fields take partial entries. As you type in a field, the grid shows results that match your entry. Note: To clear the search fields, select the Eraser icon to the right of the fields. Parent topic: Filter Medication Information

Activate a Medication
Open the Medication Configuration template. Expand the Medication Dispensing Inventory panel. Select an inactive medication from the grid.The medication information appears in the fields. Open the Medication Configuration template. Expand the Medication Dispensing Inventory panel. Select the medication in the grid.The medication information appears in the fields. Select the Inactive checkbox. Medication Dispensing Inventory panel Select Update.The medication disappears from the grid.
