Add Par Levels for a medication

You can add par levels for a medication in the inventory at a location, sub-location, and source. On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel. From the Locations grid, select the desired record. All the medications with configured par levels for the selected location and sub-location appear in the Medication Par Levels grid. Select Not configured option at the top of the Medication Par Levels grid. The medications without any configured par level appear in the Medication Par Levels grid. Select the desired medication. In the fields below Low Level and High Level column, enter the low and high par level for the selected medication respectively. Optional: To apply the entered par levels for all the sources of the selected medication, select * in the field below Source column of the Medication Par Levels grid. Select Add . Update. Update Par Levels for a Medication

You can update par levels for a medication in the inventory at a location, sub-location, and source. On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel. In the Locations grid, select the desired record. All the medications with configured par levels for the selected location and sub-location appear in the Medication Par Levels grid. Select the desired medication. The details for selected medication appears in the corresponding fields below the Medication Par Levels grid. In the fields below Low Level and High Level column, make desired updates. (Optional) To apply the entered par levels for all the sources of the selected medication, select * in the field below Source column of the Medication Par Levels grid. Select Add . Update. Par Levels

The par levels for a medication indicate the threshold quantity for high and low levels of the medication in the inventory. The high par level is the maximum quantity that you can have in an inventory, and low par level is the quantity at which you must restock your inventory. You can configure the par levels for medications in your inventory through the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel on Admin Configuration system template. You can configure the sub-locations and par levels for medications stored in various locations of your practice. You can configure the following settings in Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel on the Admin Configuration system template. Enable or disable sub-locations for practice locations. Enable or disable sharing of medications between different locations of your practice. Activate or inactivate specific sub-locations. Manage par levels for medications. Disable Sub-Locations

You can disable sub-locations for a location of your practice. Before you begin You must transfer all medications from the sub-location into a main location. On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel. In the Locations grid, select the record corresponding to sub-location to be disabled. The location and sub-location name for the selected record appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. Clear the Sub-Loc Enabled check box. Select Add . Update. Make a Sub-Location Inactive

You can make a sub-location inactive, if it is no longer needed. The inactive sub-locations do not appear in the Locations grid and are not available for selection on medical record templates. Note: You must transfer available medications from a sub-location before making it inactive. On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel. Select Active option on top of the Locations grid.. In the Locations grid, select the record corresponding to sub-location that you want to inactivate. Select Toggle. Note: If there are any medications in the selected sub-location, an alert to move the medications out of the sub-location appears.
