Make a Sub-Location Inactive
You can make a sub-location inactive, if it is no longer needed.
The inactive sub-locations do not appear in the
Locations
grid and are not available for selection on medical record templates.
Note:
You must transfer available medications from a sub-location before making it inactive.
On the
Admin Configuration
system template, expand the
Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration
panel.
Select
Active
option on top of the
Locations
grid..
In the
Locations
grid, select the record corresponding to sub-location that you want to inactivate.
Select
Toggle
.
Note:
If there are any medications in the selected sub-location, an alert to move the medications out of the sub-location appears.

Disable Sub-Locations
You can disable sub-locations for a location of your practice. Before you begin You must transfer all medications from the sub-location into a main location. On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel. In the Locations grid, select the record corresponding to sub-location to be disabled. The location and sub-location name for the selected record appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. Clear the Sub-Loc Enabled check box. Select Add . Update. View Inactive Sub-Locations
You can view all inactive sub-locations. On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel. Select the Inactive option above the Location grid. Reactivate a Sub-Location
You can reactivate an inactive sub-location. On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel. Select the Inactive option on top of the Locations grid. In the Locations grid, select the record corresponding to the sub-location you want to activate. Select Toggle. Enable Sub-Locations
You can enable sub-locations for a location of your practice. Enabling sub-locations allows you to track medications to more specific locations. Sub-locations can be nursing stations, refrigerators, deep freezers, carts, and so on. When a sub-location is enabled for a practice location, you must assign a sub-location for medications being added to the inventory for that location. Also, you must select the sub-location while administering or dispensing medications on the medical record templates. On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel. In the Locations grid, select the desired location in the field below the Location Name column. Add a Sub-Location

Update a Sub-Location
On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel. In the Locations grid, select the record corresponding to sub-location to be updated. Update sub-locations The location and sub-location name for the selected record appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. Update the required details, and select Add . Update.
