Documenting Eye Injections

You can document procedure and medication information for eye injection procedures in the OD Injection and OS Injection panels on the MICS MedAdmin OPH template. You can document the medication information for up to two medications for an eye injection. You can also document patient's response for the documented injection in the Patient Response section. Document Procedure Information for Eye Injections You can manually document procedure information for an eye injection or using a Quickpick. Documenting Medication Information for Eye Injections You can document up to four medications being administered with an injection procedure. When you have documented all procedure information, your final steps are to capture any follow-up visit information, submit charges and generate the ophthalmology injection procedure note. Pre & Post Intraocular Pressure

Post Procedure Information

Use the Post Procedure section to capture post procedure information such as complications, hand movement (HM) vision, vision improvement, and if the central retinal artery is examined and open. Documenting Ophthalmology Injections

You can document ophthalmology injection procedures for a patient on the MICS MedAdmin OPH template. On the MICS MedAdmin OPH template, you can document procedure information, medications administered, and the patient's response for eye injection procedures. You can use the fields appearing before the Today’s Assessments panel to add the general details for documenting eye injection procedures. You can also use the sections after the Injection 2 panel to document follow-up information and view the injection history. The following table describes the panels on the MICS MedAdmin OPH template. Panel Description Today’s Assessments View diagnoses added or used on today’s visit, and add and update diagnoses through this panel.
