Insert a GET Component

You can insert a Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component field on a Medical Records template. You can place one or more GET components on a template. You can hide the component when the template is launched using the Hidden property.

  1. Drag the Component icon from the Fields toolbar to the template design area where you want to place it.
    The Hosted Component Field Properties window opens.

  2. In the Field Name text box, enter the name you want to assign.
  3. From the Component Name list, select GraphExamTool.
    The Profile Name field and Settings button are enabled. The Settings button enables you to add, update, remove, or view the settings for an existing profile.
  4. From the Profile Name list, select the profile.
  5. Enter the appropriate numeric values in the Position boxes for the current vertical and horizontal coordinates to reposition the field on the template.
  6. Enter the appropriate numeric values in the Size boxes to resize the field.
  7. To hide the component when the template is opened, select the Hidden check box.
    You can also show or hide the GET component field after the template is loaded using the Show Item trigger or Hide Item trigger.
  8. After entering the field properties, select OK.
    The Graphical Exam Tool component appears on the Medical Record template.
  9. To save your template, on the main toolbar, select Save.
