The Print Note action automatically prints data from a specific note field. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Print Note action. The Print Note window opens. Select a note to be printed. To save the information and close the window, select OK. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Print Note action to be triggered. The Fax Report action can be triggered to automatically generate and fax a specific Crystal Report from a template. You can select options to: Preview the report before faxing it. Fax and save the report to the patient's chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Generate and save the report to the patient's chart without faxing it. Note: The report name cannot exceed 128 characters, including spaces. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Fax Report action. The Fax Report window opens. Select the report you want to fax from the reports listed in the window. If you have set up an Alternate Report Path Universal Preference, select the Alternate Path check box to display the reports stored in that location. The Patient Item action launches an existing patient chart document or image by its ID for quick viewing without searching the patient's encounter tree. The item can be under any locked or open encounter on the patient's chart. You can launch the following types of patient items: Document Email Document Management (ICS) image Image Patient Education topic Report To use the Patient Item trigger, set up another trigger to assign the specific patient encounter item ID to a template variable or field. For example, you can create a patient document ID variable and a Summary Sheet that displays patient document information. You can then assign the item ID from a Row Selected event/Assign Field Value trigger on the Summary Sheet to the patient document ID variable. You can place the Patient Item trigger on a Medical Records (MR) template, Group MR template or a Sidebar template. The Print Graph action automatically prints data from a selected graph to a default printer and displays a print notification. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Print Graph action. The Print Graph window opens. Select the graph field to print data from. To save the information and close the window, select OK. The Get Template Notification Data trigger can be used to store and/or display data sent from the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) when a user performs certain actions in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For example, the trigger can be executed when a user selects an annotation on an active image, selects finding or action hyperlinks in the Findings Grid, or updates the patient's reason for visit. Note: This trigger is available only from a Template Notify event on a Medical Records template. Before you create this trigger, set up a text data entry field or variable on your template to hold the notification parameter. If you set up Template Popup options for a finding, procedure, or lab order in a GET profile, use this trigger together with a Template Pop-Up trigger. The Get Template Notification Data trigger pulls the name of the Popup template into the notification parameter field, and the Template Pop-Up trigger launches that template. The Export Audio action enables users to automatically export an audio file from the note field. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Export Audio action. The Export Audio window opens. Select the template field to export the audio file from. To export any text that was saved in the audio note field, select the Include Text check box To save the information and close the window, select OK.
