Search for Patients with Secure Lookup

You can search for a patient record that is not included in the practice by using the patient's first name, last name, Social Security number, and date of birth.

  1. From the main toolbar in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, select Patient.
  2. In the Patient Lookup window, enter one of the following:
    • The patient's last four digits of the Social Security number in the L4DSSN field.
    • The patient’s date of birth in the Birth Date field.
  3. Enter the patient's first and last name, and then select Find.
  4. Select the patient record.
  5. Select OK.
